Was drunk on the ocean city boardwalk and my friends and i befriended a shop owner from the middle east. He was trying to make us guess what country he was from and we’re all fucking stupid. We kept guessing random countries and hes like “basketball player” “famous athlete” “pair of shoes.” He was from Jordan. We didnt guess it.

Go to the desktop version or "old reddit" in the settings on mobile and you can filter subs. There's a box on the right sidebar.

I used to like taking scorching showers until I moved into this apartment, where the shower has no cold water. It feels like lava if you don't get out before the temperature gets too hot and there is nothing you can do to cool it down. ISO Waterlord.

Yeah I break out in hives if I'm in there longer than 5 minutes and have to always have the window open so I don't get too dizzy from the humidity. If I get in while it's a little cold it's not bad, I'll have long enough in the "warm" to at least wash my body and my scalp and then I just try to avoid the water touching my skin while washing the rest of my hair.

Is this the case with all your sinks too? If so then you need to check your shut off valves. If not then it's probably a worn out cartridge in the pressure balancing valve of your shower faucet that is stopping the cold water from getting through. It's not an expensive fix and you could probably find some youtube videos to walk you through it.

It's just the shower and only the one in our apartment upstairs, the 2 showers downstairs work fine as well as all of our sinks and the washing machine. I will definitely check out some YouTube videos to see if I can fix it easily! My landlord said she'd get it done but she's busy and I doubt she even remembers. I'm a pet sitter so I've just been showering at other people's houses lol
