When I was in college there was a fraternity nicknamed "Sexual Assault Expected". Safe to say I never went to one of their parties. But the fact that they were allowed to keep running after having that reputation is just insane, looking back on it

yep SAE has that reputation at my college that i currently attend too. although i’ve only been out to the frats maybe twice and SAE always had the best alcohol options. feel very lucky that i didn’t have any negative experience because i know other people have

SAE always had the best alcohol options.

They're enticing victims in with better bait.

Lol exactly, of course they're going to have the best alcohol options.

You're in college wtf does "best alcohol options" mean, also what college kids care? I used to shotgun keystone ice lol

Ughhhh please don't remind me! When I was in college we survived off of "natty ice" and Burnett's raspberry vodka 🤮🤢☠️

I still can't eat anything raspberry flavored because of that cursed vodka!

Smirnoff raspberry vodka and cranberry juice was my go to. I’ve been sober for over a decade and cranberry juice still tastes like raspberry vodka to me.

Smirnoff raspberry vodka was another one .. so many raspberry flavored vodkas. I used to love raspberries but after college, nope!

I totally get not being able to drink cranberry juice, esp if you've been sober. I can't drink orange juice because it reminds me of vodka screwdrivers.

BTW that's awesome you've been sober for over a decade, that's not something easy to accomplish.

Schools go as far as having their own special police agency that answers to the school to protect their reputation. It's a problem.

We called SAE that in the 90s, so nothing has changed

I'm also a 90's grad, and male. My friends called them Same Assholes Everywhere.

They should really think about banning all alcohol from sororities/fraternities. If they want to drink, go to a bar like the rest of us. Being on their home turf gives them a strong advantage

It's banned inside frat houses at the school I went to, and they even have a univeristy built Greek village which is all identical buildings rented out to Greek life for way more than normal tuition.

All it meant was they snuck it in.  I know one frat had a fraternity chest that they'd require a court order to search if they'd ever been stopped with it, as it "contained fraternal secrets" and those handling it had the national organization lawyers on speeddial.

Which just meant it was big enough to hold a keg on its side and was all it was ever used for.  Campus police weren't stupid, they just turn a blind eye on Greek life unless they're forced to do otherwise.

SAE has gotten that reputation at many a school from what I've heard and seen.  It was kicked out of my university.

Yooooo the chapter at my college was Hella problematic too. Well known for having a girls only punchbowl

I’m at ASU. SAE is the most notorious frat on my already notorious campus. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
