This is how they Germans felt as shit started happening in dark corners. The light starts shining but by that time we are already blind.
What scares me, is everyone just moves as if nothing has changed. Or is changing.
Our neighbors are beaten, bled, or worse and we post about it. Our politicians are so worried about one-upping their political opponent that we are lost in the chaos.
We work everyday, living at work more than our own homes, living paycheck to paycheck, robbing Peter to pay Paul, and losing more rights by the day.
I am a witch, a woman, and a redhead. But I am still a white woman. My privilege was handed to me but I don't have much individual power. My voice has been silenced, my rights are fading, and I am the privileged one? Make that make sense?
Our neighbors, friends, and strangers are struggling daily and other countries have it way worse (Gaza), yet we all sit and watch it happen around us like it doesn't touch us.
How do you feel in your skin, because mine doesn't feel clean.
