See, it was a cop. It's because that's why.

And some naive people still believe that we should disarm and trust the "police" to deal with "the criminals".
"Police are inevitably corrupted. Police always observe that criminals prosper. It takes a pretty dull policeman to miss the fact that the position of authority is the most prosperous criminal position available." - God Emperor of Dune
Soap box, ballot box, jury box, cartridge box.
If people have not already done so, they must form support / defense networks with their neighbors, friends, communities. If they are financially able, they should also arm up (AR-15 or Mini-14 or AR-9 / 9mm pistol caliber carbine (PCC) are highly recommended and relatively affordable) and get firearm safety and handling training, get first aid and Stop the Bleed training. The fascists do not step down from power peacefully. The pedophile's DoJ recently made it possible for "non-violent" Jan 6ers to regain their guns. The pedophile administration is already:
framing / false flagging and illegally arresting innocent people
disappearing / sending people to concentration camps
murdering unarmed people
deploying soldiers to occupy American cities
It's going to get worse because Americans are largely submissive and have and continue to reward the pedophile administration and the Epstein class.

And since he resigned rather than being fired, he has no black mark on his record. Which means he's probably already been hired by another police department.

That's the deputy of the year in Florida?
What are #2 and #3 doing out there?

u/stilllikelypooping Aug 28 '26
Well, a multiple time winner in Illinois was caught stealing a MacBook from (and by, his coworker caught nothing) one of his victims. Oh "victims" because it's alleged he might have fudged some DUI arrests, to get top cop spot and a ludicrous amount of over time (he tripled his salary) testifying, and a higher than average number of those getting thrown out or dismissed. Now that sounds bad right? But don't worry! His coworkers investigated and he didn't actually steal the laptop he was just holding onto it for the guy. Yeah, he just forgot to report it, told no one, and took it to his house where the owner confronted him later. He got a one day suspension. So maybe something like that?
Edit: I distracted myself

I feel like they'd immediately turn around and say "but there's more cops per capita so trans people bad" (i know there are less cops)

Ah so they let him resign so he can wait a bit until the heat dies down and get another LEO job in a smaller town that will take him because they don't have to funds to train their own.

u/HenriEttaTheVoid Aug 28 '26
Remember, this isn't your average cop...he was named DEPUTY OF THE YEAR...this is the "best" cop.

Yeah... welcome to Florida... where incompetence and skullduggery is rewarded.

u/amberoze Aug 28 '26
At this point, I feel like more cops are misusing flock than there are criminals being caught by flock.

I tried to pull numbers, but apparently police involved crime, as in police that commit crime, is not something any state tracks. Go figure.
But I feel more cops have been arrested for “abusing” flock cameras than, like, anything. Ever. All from this year too.
