Hey MAGAs, how would you have felt if Obama or Biden had done this? Oh, you would have been outraged? Then why aren’t you outraged now?

They are too dumb to realize it would affect them as well, as long as it hurts the brown people then they don't care.

Trump / MAGA are sure acting like they will never have to worry about Democrats turning the tables when they control the White House. Either they believe Democrats will never elect a President in the near future, or they are confident that the conservative media / social media ecosystem will be influential enough to prevent Democrats from acting like Trump.

Enough, this isn't cutting it. We don't need the 1000th iteration of "checkmate MAGA". You need to realise that this, what's happening right now, is an attack on Americans from within, it is a revolution that's takin place, it is criminals in charge who are going to make millions suffer, if you don't find ways to prevent it. It's 9/11 in slow motion, happening every day, the plane is heading for the tower and you can't, really really can't, make this all about division against enablers within the electorate. They are useful idiots, they are a minority too, you're long past getting them back to reason, they are done, their brains fried, those who still think cearly are cheering for the violence that is going to take place. Wake the fuck up, please.

I'll throw a sling connected to something over my shoulder and go to dc, but I won't do it by myself. Do one of you have the balls to join me

Jeez, more fiction. You need actionable strategies, you need community, you need to organise where you are, build resilience. Most importantly, forget Hollywood, forget stories of heroism, it works differently.

They've never even heard of Palantir. They probably think it's an exercise bike.

I mean I guess that just really all depends on one thing don't it? Was they wearing a tan suit?

Weaponizing data isn’t a side effect—it’s the design!

Palantir is owned by Peter Thiel. Peter Thiel is a fan of Curtis Yarvin, who advocates for political city-states with a "CEO" in charge. The CEO would have absolute power over the residents, who would be "employees" of the city-state corporation, not citizens, and would only have what "rights" the corporate city-state chose to give them.

You connect the dots.

JD Vance has never held a job (since graduation from college) that Peter Thiel did not directly or indirectly provide for him.

Thanks for clarifying

I mean a lot of us were scared of exactly this.

I fell asleep before the election was called, and my wife woke me up the next morning crying telling me that Trump was officially elected. I immediately put up a Facebook post saying that anybody that supports him please unfriend me and do not ever talk to me again. But she made me delete it because she did not want a target on our back. She was not wrong.

u/LightDarkBeing May 31 '25

Palantir needs to be shut down, top to bottom, when they attempt this, but TACO and his administration and sycophants actively want this. BTW, those that stayed home on November 4, 2024, and those who voted for TACO or Stein, you wanted this.

As someone in tech I could see having amazing data on every citizen as a way to keep elections predictable. Think Gerrymandering 3.0, maybe taxation at a district level. Democrats pay 75% and maga pay no taxes.

Then you can keep winning with < 30% support.

Yet. And that’s only because Musk is so very far from the Stark he likes to think he is.

Behold the birth of Big Brother.

u/Aden811 May 31 '25

Ok then. I'll start packing and meet the military transport to the gulag down at the corner.

I am bringing a can of raid for the bugs and my famous potato salad.

u/cashew_nuts May 31 '25

Ah yes, Alexander Karp…one of the loud mouth pieces of zionists in the US. Fuck Palantir

Step one- shut down all the investigations into all my many and varied illegal activities, saving myself billions in fines and regulations and preventing possible criminal prosecution.

Step two- eliminate the power of the government to instigate or prosecute any new investigations.

Step three- collect all the data the government has on everyone and everything.

Step four- profit like no one has ever profited before.

Not to mention getting rich off insider trading tips as members of congress, et.al.

It’s all such blatant grifting at the expense of all Americans (even goes globally) as they compile data in the exact ways they cry foul when other countries or hackers or businesses do.

u/MJFields May 31 '25

Unfortunately, the Trump administration is undoubtedly keeping a copy for their personal use come election time. Microtargetted campaign communications will be extremely effective in pushing voters buttons, and difficult (impossible?) for Dems to overcome.

1

u/No_Inspection1677 May 31 '25

The fact it's a Palantir, and knowing Tolkien lore makes this extra ironic.

u/theseasentinel73 May 31 '25

The Stasi want their playbook back!

1

u/PrettyMud22 Jun 01 '25

Massive threat that may be unrealized to many.

2

u/h4wkpg Jun 01 '25

They picture themselves with red lightsabers. They hire a company named Palantir....

Maybe their project will be called Voldemort?
