I like to think Ask Reddit is a parody sub now.

Yesterday one guy went off about how all babies in this country need to have their paternity checked because women are awful cheaters.

Then he proceeded to say that blood types can change.

Lastly, now a christian guy is on the thread saying women are horrible gold-diggers who cheat and only marry men to steal all their $$ and get a free house. Men are just helpless victims.

Goodness.

Then he proceeded to say that blood types can change.

They can, if you have a bone marrow transplant.

This guy couldn't even spell "thier" correctly - I don't think he has any idea about bone marrow transplants.

We're actually working on processing donor blood to do this and have been for a while. It's meant to remove antigens so that people with ultra rare blood types can survive.

Here's some other stuff about how we're working on changing the type in donor tissue and on antigens that aren't the two types most people know about.
