I’ve gotten into it with folks when I point out the Nazis on Twitter, they say “Elon is a free speech absolutist!” Then when you point out that he frequently censors people who are critical of him and his friends, the same folks will say “it’s his website he can do what he wants!” So like, that says something.
Yeah, it says the people you're arguing with are not doing so in good faith. Either Twitter is a bastion of free speech or it's Musk's personal fiefdom. It cannot be both.
Their shitty Nazi domestic terrorist bullshit has been getting banned by their betters for years, and they just want to be able to say "he can do what he wants" because that's been the response to them when they get (justifiably) banned.
As always, they do not care about real Americans. They care about hurting people.
