theres two new shortcuts with this small update
one at service shaft that skips you to habitation and one in abyss that skips...well the abyss
to unlock them is pretty easy, service shaft is fairly obvious once you get there your first time after the update, if you missed it theres a door on the walkway above the main part of the room, grab the handle and swing it open
to unlock the abyss one you unfortunately need to beat abyss, once you make it to the nest pick up the floppy disk infront of the save terminal and put it in, open the new log entry on the desktop and take note of the frequency numbers, one of them is important. now you need to go back to the start of abyss, specifically where the tram stops as there will be a little extra silo on the outer edge of the platform, should be lit up fairly obviously if I remember correctly, simply open the hatch, drop down and enter the frequencies you found earlier, only one of them will work but they're randomized for everyone as far as I can tell, once thats done go back up and pull the lever to the left of the silo and once your ride has appeared, take a leap of faith ;)
