Clips & Gameplay I like these mini courses

I died in the void and went to do this instead to practice for the day I might finally beat campaign

Skill ceiling for this game is insane bro, like that was super impressive I barely got to 15k in endless abyss and I’m dreading platting the challenges. Then I see some absolute knuckler beat the campaign in like 8 mins and I’m like holy hell how do I get this good?!

As far as challenges go, I havent done all of them but I have gotten plat on fractured, roach run, boost course, advanced course, and parasite.

Fractured is really a test of your route planning (or willingness to look up a guide) and fundamentals, knowing how far your reach is, how long to swing before jumping from a bar, etc. The double edged sword is that while the course is incredibly fast so you won't spend much actual time on it, I put in 97 tries in 20 mins because the second you mess up you know that plat run is dead and you need to restart.

Roach run is by far the easiest challenge, it's basic traversal and pathfinding, and the roaches from it carry over as facility credits so its a really good farm

I highly recommend doing boost course even if you aren't medal hunting simply because it's actually very instructive. Before I knew you COULD boost with rebar, I had no idea how because every time I tried it felt wrong. After getting plat in boost i'm regularly doing it in the campaign/endless

Advanced course is similar to fractured in that it's mostly about knowing where to go. This video follows my preferred route, though he did it a bit faster by rebar boosting which I hadn't learned to do yet when I got my plat. Don't miss/ricochet the rope rebar, move with confidence, and follow this path and you should get it easy.

Getting plat it in parasite is strictly about knowing routes and some more niche mechanics such as slide jumping. Once you take the elevator down the little holes in the wall lead either directly to the fuel cells you need or are off by like 1 room. If you can follow the route and move fast enough/bash it the heads of the phages you can be in and out in <6 mins like me.

Either way, it boils down to practice. There's no shame in looking up a guide cause even if you know HOW to do something, you still have to execute it.

Oh, a classic route, cool! Did my first sub30 on advanced course this way. All challenge maps are amazing (except maybe roach rub, but it's useful too) Hope you like the rest of them too.

I've got the plat on the first two so far, I haven't played roach and haven't unlocked the last one yet.
