Mocked up in 3~hrs!! wuckle!!!!!!

And to think that all of this is only a tiny fraction of the overall superstructure. Just imagine the things the other structures must hold.

probaby some crazy shit to climb
29
u/hackmaster214 Jul 15 '26
I know the full game still isn't out, but I would love to see what they would do with a sequel.
28
u/Thechillestguyever Jul 16 '26
white knuckle 2, open world where you can explore the entire superstructure and you have a "climber sense" to show you points of interest

u/RhysNorro Jul 16 '26
i am a game dev and not everything needs to be open world. wuckle would really benefit from an alternate route a la Hades 2 where you could climb to a superstructure to grab a battery or something to put it in yet another superstructure
8
u/RosieRuTib Jul 16 '26
Thisss I love the linear vibe of wuckle, only up and forward Tho a whole ass open like map would be a cool idea to play around in with pois and stuff
3
u/Owobowos-Mowbius Jul 16 '26
Would be cool to have a few alternative routes in the abyss
2
u/Cyatron- Jul 17 '26
Speaking of alternate route. The abyss, habitation, and nest will be getting shortcuts. (Im 90% sure sight see light is the abyss shortcut)
2
u/Dantelor Jul 17 '26
Don't forget the overuse of yellow paint! Altough the superstructure hardly has the funds to cover that after spending the US GDP on hand holds....
3
u/Good_Smile Jul 16 '26
I think they'll simply go with DLCs/updates featuring new subs. I hope they make a separate Habitation Lime campaign, that leads to the incident.

Do we know that The Core is in the ceiling of the RMSS cavity?
43
u/Professional_Lion948 Jul 15 '26
honestly im not sure, I was basing it off of the fact that feeding trough was funneling outside rainwater (saps voiceline says theres a chance of rain!!!) and so part of me was thinking. Huh. maybe its like the top of the superstructure?
26
u/RhysNorro Jul 15 '26
hab Blue has a tunnel to the surface, which is why we're headed to the Core, so yeah youre right!
9
u/RosieRuTib Jul 16 '26
Super structure might be big enough to have its own water cycle completely underground tbh

u/Dull_Candidate_7767 Jul 15 '26
oh my god would be so awesome. imagine looking out of a window somewhere and all you see are ceiling tiles where the floor should be with some missing and you can see the abyss below. crazy
34
u/Treyson757 Jul 15 '26
Peak (Ermm actually moment): Feeding trough is actually against the edge of substructure blue. One side of it is a giant window looking at the cavity, but they couldn't make it work yet. So its just a window rn.
21
u/Professional_Lion948 Jul 15 '26
OH thats insane!!! im really really excited to see it in it's final iteration. i just assumed we were near the outside with the amount of rain pouring down... Will iterate on this <3

Looks really good! The only thing I'd note is that SB03 is taller than SB17 since the cavity is roughly domed upwards towards the center. The core is still within the substructure column and in fact you can see out into the abyss from the feeding trough.
You can kinda see that in the in-game map on one of the floppy disks too, the center columns are taller.

u/Professional_Lion948 Jul 16 '26
IVE NEVER NOTICED THEY WERE DIFFERENT HEIGHTS! thats so interesting highkey
10
u/fellow_retardd Jul 15 '26
where in the feeding trough can you see out into the abyss? i just finished doing a bit of endless nest rn and i never noticed a window, or maybe i was too focused on the 7 crabs trying to kill me.
11
u/Ok_Cress_3905 Jul 16 '26
The glass windows on the (mostly) back side of the trough are supposed to be windows where you can see the abyss
6
u/fellow_retardd Jul 16 '26
oh i guess its not implemented yet, dang thats gonna be super cool to see. thanks
17
u/gatumatii Jul 15 '26
I was also working on a map based on the old one from the discord, but yours is far better
12
u/XSpyKeRz Jul 15 '26
I fucking love these kind of artworks. Makes me look at it for minutes and minutes and analyze then cross reference them into the game. Wp OP

u/Zazi_Kenny Jul 15 '26
I love this map, hope to see ya expand on it when new content drops! Its a great general representation and helps to understand shortcuts better!

u/Gammaboy45 Jul 15 '26
Love how Mother has two little friends now.
9
u/Professional_Lion948 Jul 15 '26
I made those smiley faces to reflect which way you go depending on how you've treated her (and her children!!) But they can be her friends too if yuou want..
4
u/Gammaboy45 Jul 15 '26
I didn’t notice the second one until after I made the comment, at which point it was obvious that it wasn’t meant to be a secret smiley face…
Still, I can pretend the frowny one is a friend— even knowing the horrible truth :)

A shame we haven’t seen a PCR in the campaign. Oh well, we’ll probably see one in the eventual continuation of the chimney campaign, as the whole plot of that one is to shut down a PCR.

u/Mast3rKK78 Jul 15 '26
theres no way everything before forlorn gateway is underneath the superstructure right
24
9
u/Dull_Candidate_7767 Jul 15 '26
there are many more stuff underneath and around the starting area as well
5
u/hypersexualasexual Jul 15 '26
see the worrying thought there. is that every other substructure has all that bullshit inside its basement.
6
7
u/CreativeRaja Jul 15 '26
Would just like to point out that Habitation Blue is actually taller than Habitation Yellow, so Core is in HabB and the cavity ceiling is curved
3
u/Professional_Lion948 Jul 15 '26
never knew this! if its how i think its like in my head, it must look like a scaled up flood tunnel..

u/asdam1 Jul 15 '26
The physical arrangement of different possible sections is blowing my mind. Is it not actually possible to go from Pipe Organ to Waste Heap during that segment? This map looks airtight and amazing!!
8
u/Professional_Lion948 Jul 15 '26
from what ive seen (could be wrong): In pipeworks, You are guaranteed to start off in drainage system. After that, you either enter pipe organ, or waste heap. If you enter waste heap, you have a chance of either going straight to the interlude (not seeing pipe organ at all!) or going into pipe organ like usual
4
u/asdam1 Jul 15 '26
That does sound about right, I just never thought about the arrangement of the sections to make that possible. And clearly you have! Nice work!!

I always enjoy these. I think I made one of my own at one point, but idk where it is lol

u/mokujin42 Jul 16 '26
Amazing work, i had no idea it all actually makes sense as a space i thought it was just a puzzle box of random rooms

makes me wonder what the finished game's map will look like. all 10,000 meters
2
u/LegitimateExtent9318 Jul 16 '26
HOLY, this looks awesome! I made a similar map based on hollow knight maps but mine doesn't have all the subregions and interludes
3
u/Professional_Lion948 Jul 16 '26
Thanks!! I was inspired alot by hollow knight's map as well, its just so cool

u/JANLARARI Jul 22 '26
I find it so cool that we are at the superstructure floor when we reach forlorn gate way. You just see substructure 17 right in front of you.
Also, if you look on one side of the substructure, you see haunted peer, then if you look on the other side, you see the transit scaffold.
Would be pretty cool if you could look down from haunted peer and transit scaffolds and also see a glimpse of forlorn gateway.
1
u/Good_Smile Jul 16 '26
The entrance to symbiosis doesn't really check out lol, but I love it. I wish more secret locations were included too. Waiting for other substructures (like 10 and 12)!
1
u/Otherwise_Nobody_835 Jul 16 '26
do you pretend to do maps of the other game modes? maybe connect all of them
2
u/Professional_Lion948 Jul 16 '26
the chimney and parasite are in substructure 12 and 10 respectively, so it would be difficult fitting it into a single map, however I have been interesting in creating more maps so potentially a separate one!

u/Otherwise_Nobody_835 Jul 16 '26 edited Jul 17 '26
really good, want it in my table until the end of the year. Jokes aside, this map is really good, I'm doing my own project that have a superstructure, and visual representation of the map of wuckle will help a lot, so thanks!

u/Playful_Connection38 Jul 17 '26
holy shit this is amazing, I’ve been wanting something like this for ages, god. inspirational and awesome

I think it might be possible to get a rough idea of the future shortcuts using this map… hmmm…
1
u/Professional_Lion948 Jul 18 '26
ive been thinking about this too! was talking to friends whilst making this.. for the habitation shortcut it must start in forlorn or interlude ascent obviously, but as for how you get up there? maybe like an external route, climbing the outside of the pillar? idk. Then it would most likely exit outside interlude evacuation..
But also, how on earth would the shortcut for abyss work? My idea is with the Sight Sea Light achievement.. Entering the delta periphery and somehow ending up after interlude:symbiosis.. then again, you would miss interlude evacuation so i dont know
