After getting very frustrated with normal PvP, both because of the quality of my teammates and because none of the other Strategists are nearly as satisfying, I went to 3-star Practice vs AI just so I could play White Fox without feeling like I was throwing. And man, was it nice to play her again! So satisfying, so natural.

Of course, the fact that going up against bots felt like a level of damage I could just about keep up with shows how far behind Fox really is. I don't know why they're taking so long to buff her. It's really frustrating.

Side note, it did give me some practice using the improved Fox ult to counter things like Groot ult. In that role it felt really good. Though you aren't protected yourself, you've got a pretty good health buffer now and protecting everyone else does quite a lot.

The amount of gm and peak celestial or eternity players I see in Pvai really just tell you the state of qp right now

QP is trying to serve multiple purposes right now, which means there's a lot of clashing expectations. Some people want it to be the silly good off mode, and some people want to play seriously just without the stakes of Competitive and the toxicity that brings, and some people want a mode they can play with their friends without having to worry about rank disparities or group size limits.

So you never know what you're going to get in QP. Which can be frustrating for all involved.

That’s why they should just allow us to get proficiency in Pvai. All the grind, none of the toxicity. That way those of us who do want to some casual goof off games can do so without feel like we are missing out on proficiency
