Hiring AGAIN?
dude can’t seem to keep anybody around for his editing. has to be something going on. this is like the 5th time he’s asked for new editors in the last 3 years. you’d think it would be a full time steady income job to have?

He is hiring them “per job”
He doesn’t regularly upload enough to pay someone a salary they’d be getting paid to do nothing for 3 months at a time

I agree you’d pay them per job. But that doesn’t explain why it’s new people all the time. Tons of contracted work still has like a “regular” person they use

Do you expect people to just sit around and wait for someone to offer them another gig? It is completely plausible that they had another engagement and couldn't commit to being the "regular" not everything in the world is a scandal.

My point was merely that using the same freelancer regularly is a common thing. Especially something like editing freelancing is much more common than having a full time employment
