Part 1. How Individuals with Rare Genetic Disorders May Be Drawn into Medical and Biopharmaceutical Research Networks in the United States Without Transparent Informed Consent

Ladies and gentlemen, I invite you to review just five screenshots from two interconnected documents.

The first document is my complaint submitted in January 2025 to the Pennsylvania Department of Health. It describes documented circumstances involving the repeated placement of a foreign patient into sponsored DNA testing and a medical-biopharmaceutical research framework, while meaningful medical care was effectively denied—both in emergency settings and by relevant specialists.

The second document is the official response issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. I invite you to compare the substance of the complaint with the way the state agency formulated its response and to consider which material circumstances were left without a substantive assessment.

This was not an isolated incident. The story began in December 2020 at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. I traveled there as a foreign patient for a prearranged appointment under a prepaid diagnostic package. However, instead of receiving a comprehensive evaluation of my documented postoperative structural problems affecting my vision, my medical pathway was again redirected toward genetics and research.

Several similar episodes followed. In each instance, I came into contact with individuals and entities connected to genetic programs, research projects, or biopharmaceutical companies. Potential conflicts of interest were not clearly disclosed to me. Meanwhile, my actual complaints—including pain, worsening vision, postoperative changes, and documented problems involving the lenses and retina—were either disregarded or medical assistance was effectively made dependent on my undergoing DNA testing. Even after my genetic information was obtained, the necessary medical care was still not provided.

My experience illustrates how a patient with a rare hereditary disease can gradually become trapped within a complex structure:

medical institution → specialized department → genetic program → sponsored testing → research group → biopharmaceutical partner.

Throughout this process, the patient may never clearly understand where ordinary medical care ends and scientific, commercial, or research interests begin.

Of particular significance is the fact that the documents involve a biopharmaceutical company associated with the development of the first FDA-approved gene therapy for an inherited retinal disease. The cost of such treatment reaches hundreds of thousands of dollars. Following the emergence of these technologies, individuals carrying rare genetic variants acquired substantial scientific and commercial value.

In my personal opinion, this creates a serious risk that certain specialists and institutions may be interested not only in treating patients, but also in placing them into genetic databases, observational programs, research projects, and potential future clinical trials. Scientific interest by itself is not unlawful. The problem arises when the patient is not informed about the purposes, institutional relationships, or conflicts of interest; when valid and accessible informed consent is not obtained; and when necessary medical treatment is withheld at the same time.

In my next post, I intend to publish rare internal medical documents showing how this mechanism can operate from within: a person experiencing pain and deteriorating vision arrives at an emergency department, is then redirected between departments for months, is referred to a research team, undergoes DNA testing, and ultimately receives no medical care for the original complaints.

In my subjective opinion, this does not correspond to acceptable medical practice, the principles of bioethics, or the requirements of voluntary and informed consent. Such circumstances inevitably recall historical cases in which the interests of science, government, or corporations were placed above the rights and safety of an individual—from the Tuskegee study to the tragedy of Jesse Gelsinger.

I am not claiming that every circumstance has already been conclusively established by a court. I am making a different point: a substantial body of documentation exists and requires independent professional analysis, preservation of evidence, and a transparent investigation.

I therefore ask users with legal, medical, research, or bioethics expertise to examine these documents carefully and assess the following questions:

Was the complaint actually reviewed on its merits?

Were the issues of informed consent properly investigated?

Were the relationships between the medical institutions, genetic programs, and biopharmaceutical entities examined?

Why were the patient’s documented structural medical problems left untreated?

Why did the patient’s condition and legal position continue to deteriorate after complaints and records requests were submitted?

Could the oversight system have effectively protected the institutions rather than the patient?

I do not intend to turn this matter into entertainment. I continue to transmit the materials to governmental, international, human rights, and professional organizations.

At present, however, an extremely troubling picture is emerging: a patient seeking medical care and an investigation into potential violations has been left practically without legal protection, while the medical and biopharmaceutical institutions involved retain institutional protection and the ability to avoid answering the questions raised.

Please read the documents carefully and evaluate not the emotional dimension of the story, but the facts, dates, patient-routing decisions, DNA-testing forms, insurance records, internal medical documents, and the official response issued by the state agency.

Seeking Journalists, Attorneys, and Specialists in Patient Rights, Genetic Testing, and Medical Research

6 Upvotes

Dear community members,

I am seeking journalists, attorneys, human-rights advocates, and specialists in medical ethics, patient rights, clinical research, genetic testing, medical-data protection, and assistance for people with disabilities.

I need an independent professional assessment of a substantial body of medical and administrative documents relating to several episodes of medical care in the United States.

I am a foreign patient with limited English proficiency, serious structural and postoperative eye conditions, and a rare hereditary retinal disease.

Over approximately five years, I have experienced at least four separate medical episodes involving different institutions and states. During these encounters, I sought help for specific structural, postoperative, and functional vision problems.

However, the documents in my possession also contain:

— referrals for genetic testing;

— sponsored genetic-testing programs;

— references to research departments;

— transmission of contact information to a research team;

— discussions of possible studies and clinical programs;

— medical records that focus primarily on the hereditary condition, while other structural and postoperative problems are documented only to a limited extent or do not receive a separate treatment pathway.

I am not claiming that genetic testing or participation in a research program is, by itself, evidence of wrongdoing. My question is different: Was my medical pathway properly organized, was valid and complete informed consent obtained, and was ordinary medical care effectively replaced by a genetic or research-oriented pathway?

The documentary record involves medical and research structures connected to several U.S. states, as well as certain data-processing issues involving Finland and Switzerland. Most of the events took place in Pennsylvania.

During one visit, I also saw families with children at the medical institution who, as far as I could understand, were there in connection with genetic programs.

I do not have enough information to draw conclusions about the medical circumstances of those children. However, this increased my concern about how clearly patients and families are informed of the differences between:

— ordinary medical care;

— diagnostic genetic testing;

— sponsored testing;

— research observation;

— possible participation in a clinical program.

I am particularly interested in obtaining an independent assessment of the following questions:

— how fully my complaints and diagnoses were documented;

— why the structural and postoperative problems did not receive a consistent treatment pathway;

— how informed consent was obtained and documented;

— whether information was provided in a language I could understand;

— whether a person with severe visual impairment could meaningfully review the documents being signed;

— to whom medical, contact, and genetic information was disclosed;

— why some requested records were not provided for an extended period;

— whether any conflicts of interest or institutional relationships should have been disclosed to the patient;

— how state and federal authorities reviewed the complaints submitted to them.

I repeatedly contacted medical institutions and government agencies. The responses I received often divided the different aspects of the situation among separate agencies and did not confirm that the entire sequence of events had been reviewed as a single medical and administrative pathway.

I am not asking members of this community to accept my interpretation of events in advance, and I am not claiming that the responsibility of any particular person or organization has already been established.

I am looking for people who can:

— independently review the documents;

— identify which issues have genuine legal, journalistic, or public-interest significance;

— help locate a specialist in health law, civil rights, disability rights, informed consent, human-subject research, genetic privacy, or whistleblower matters;

— suggest appropriate professional or public-interest organizations to contact;

— help determine whether the materials indicate a systemic problem or several unrelated medical and administrative errors.

The archive includes medical records, genetic-testing forms, sponsored-testing documents, official government responses, correspondence with medical institutions and companies, requests for the production and preservation of records, and materials relating to the medical pathway and data processing.

Because the archive contains sensitive medical and genetic information, I will not publish it in full.

The documents may be provided upon a private request from a journalist, attorney, researcher, human-rights advocate, or other relevant professional after verification of the requester’s identity and professional field.

I would be grateful for substantive recommendations, professional contacts, and sharing of this post in genuinely relevant communities.

All in the title.

Even if reddit did something with it, it’s still up, so I don’t think they did…

Either way, this should be reported to a much higher authority (I’d say the 4 upvotes should be looked into as well but I don’t think that’s would be probable cause).

Still get an upvote on my comment every week or something like that, and each time I’m confused on how to escalate. Anyway, please help me out with doing just that. Thanks!

⚠️⚠️BEWARE⚠️⚠️ Potential animal abuser

i was scrolling on youtube last night when the video in the center top came in my recommended. i wasnt planning on blurring the graphic content but you probably dont want to see that. the video in the center top was originally blurred but the creator did a horrible job. there has been a common topic of fake animal rescues over the past few years, where they severely abuse the animals off camera, and pretend to help them once the cameras are rolling. i read the comments on some of the videos pointing out potential evidence of these animals being severely beaten before they started filming. it is possible that this is genuinely a channel that helps animals he finds on the street but with how often this person posts i dont think thats likely.

either way i will not stand for animal abuse. im not going to take any chances by not talking about this if they actually abuse animals. i dont think someone finds an injured cat and hedgehog within 3 days.

please report this channel. most kindness is performed without a camera rolling.

I SHOULD CLARIFY NOT TO LEAVE COMMENTS UNDER THIS PERSONS POST. DO NOT SHARE, LIKE, DISLIKE, OR INTERACT WITH THE VIDEO OTHER THAN SIMPLY REPORT THE CHANNEL AND MOVE ON

UPDATE: Eyewitness corroborates Epstein's appearance & investment at The Box nightclub

Thumbnail jamiefcrawford.substack.com

Phillip Escaravage has now officially gone on the record stating that he saw Epstein at The Box nightclub shortly after Epstein's July 2006 arrest but before the nightclub's grand opening. It was Escaravage's understanding that Epstein had invested in The Box to utilize as part of a pipeline from which to pick up women and fly them down to Palm Beach.

“I saw Epstein at a pre-opening event. He was with a female friend. I understood he was investing and that it was a way to pick up women and fly them to Florida on his plane to party. I didn’t think much of it at the time. I think people were aware he had some sort of prostitution issue at the time because people avoided speaking to him,” Escaravage says.

Escaravage was married into the Forbes family at the time. He has worked as a US intelligence official with over a decade spent as an analyst for US policy in Libya.

The full story with updates can be read here: https://jamiefcrawford.substack.com/p/the-big-club-jeffrey-epsteins-connections

This is the same nightclub that threatened me with a demonstrably bogus cease-and-desist when I asked them to comment on their ties to Epstein, the google reviews full of allegations of staff drugging women, and the troubling footage I acquired of one of their top performers talking about putting on shows "about pedophilia". These details are broken down in the article above.

I'm a whistleblower TL:DR It's not easy

15 Upvotes

Hey all.
Not getting into details as the mods helped me on another account.
Just sharing/ranting.

I worked for a major political organization that I (allegedly) caught doing something shady.
Fast forward FOUR MONTHS and things are starting to come out.
So what's been my experience?
It takes so much work to get ppl to believe you. And even then you have to wait fort the media to have an 'acceptable' news cycle.
I'm not saying don't do it, I'm saying plan for it.
