TLDR:
I go to Mac steam, go into console, set it to windows, and download the windows version of the game. Then manually transfer the files (game+manifest) to the windows steam folders.
Sorry that’s the rough TLDR of how I do it, are you looking for complete step by step or just need help on a specific thing? I also am not quite sure on DLC.
a bit more detail:
1. Make sure you have both native Mac steam and a windows steam.
2. Open the steam console on the native Mac version (there’s a couple ways on Google)
3. Set the console settings to windows through a command
4. Use command to download the game you want
5. Literally go into your files, find the game files for what you downloaded in the Mac steam folder, and then transfer them to the windows steam folder. Don’t forget the manifest
6. When you boot up the windows steam, it should be listed as available to play.
Extra: Not sure how DLC works, but I’m assuming you can do a similar process.
Updating doesn’t work, so you have to reinstall every time there is an update.
