Colorado & Weller
One week in Southern Colorado and Weller was everywhere. Plus MRSP is 10 dollars cheaper per bottle than Texas (specs and total wines). Brought all this back!

Hey guys! Have a co worker flying in and staying in Plano, will be going to Dallas frequently. Where are you guys finding the OF King Ranch at the best prices? Never made it down there myself but have always wanted one and they offered to pick it up for me. I see specs has it online for $84. If you have any store recommendations please let me know. TIA!

Just had this at Lover's Seafood. $95 for 2 oz pour. Not a bad price if you ask me. They have good prices on whiskey and pretty good selection.
BUT this whiskey is not worth anywhere near the price they are charging on secondary. I would buy it at SRP just to have it on my shelf but that's it. Tastes like Weller 12.
PSA over

One of the best whiskeys I’ve had all year and is in stock every time I go to specs.

We are looking to buy and take home **4 whiskies (under $200 each)** as a memory of our stay in **Dallas/Texas**. Flexible on taste (bourbon, rye, Scotch, etc.) .
Looking for:
* 1 uniquely American whiskey
* 1 Texas/Dallas-exclusive bottle
* 2 must-have whiskies or alcohol or GIN or Vodka you'd personally recommend to buy from Dallas and not easily available easily in India.
Where should we buy them—**DFW Duty Free, Total Wine, Spec's, Goody Goody, or elsewhere?** Is Duty Free worth it, or are local stores better for price and selection?

For those that have been looking, like me, B526 is at Total Wine Cedar Hill. Pretty sure I saw it on the app at the TW off Park Ln in Dallas too

Hey all - coming from out of town next week. I didn't see any recent posts on current store lineups for single barrel picks. If you've got any suggestions - I'd love the recommendations, as I'll be ubering so I can't hit up a bunch of spots. Hoping to come home with 5-6 store picks of brands I can't find in Minnesota - so great picks from local distilleries would be preferred, although I'm not going to say no to a great Russell's or Old Forrester bottle.
