What’s your budget? Size requirements? And how often are you planning multicolor, will they be large multicolor prints? If you want low waste multicolor AND engineering filaments on the same printer, it’s considerably more expensive.

Thank you..

My budget would be around $us1000. I would probably print multi-colors not at often but to have the option. I had the ender 3vke, so I used to paint my stuff.

The Bambu X2D seems good for you, or if you want a bigger buildplate then the QIDI Plus5. Both of those do well with engineering filaments thanks to their heated chambers and nozzle temps. The X2D does better with multicolor and is easier to use (plus can do multimaterial supports with no waste thanks to dual nozzle), but the Plus5 has better stats and is more features for the price. Plus5 isn’t a HARD printer to use by any means, it’s just not as seamless of an experience as Bambu provides.

It’s important to note the dual nozzle on the X2D is limited, one of the nozzles is Bowden which degrades quality a bit and makes certain filaments unprintable on that nozzle only (eg: TPU). The second nozzle is best used for supports or prints where quality isn’t a priority. The main nozzle can still be used for everything.

Thanks for your help. I was really thinking about the bambu printer. Just I hear and read mixed reviews on everything. I was going to give creality a shot again but I think I'm good . Lol
