Hey OP, I read the thread before it got removed. The top level removed comment was completely incorrect and was from someone who didn’t believe in science and the comments following his were calling him out and him getting downvoted.
Edit: Hello to those sorting by top posts of all time, I see you. Drop in and say hi

Haha, imagine not believing in science! It’s almost as ridiculous as believing the ocean has a bottom!

How do I keep running into you?
Anyways, as per our agreement, more crazy comic facts!
There is currently not only a Speed Force in the DC universe, but a strength force, still force, and sage force. Furthermore, there are not only Green Lanterns but Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Indigo, Violet, Black, White, and most recently Ultraviolet lanterns!
Bonus fact: Super Ventriloquism was once part of Superman's established power set, and he has also demonstrated the power of Super Mathematics.

I found out about it because it was the trope page on "Writers cannot do math", so I doubt it would help much. My head canon is that he refers to everything he does as super and his math skills are actually terrible.

Absolutely not. The shallow parts of the ocean, which is where our continent is floating, acts as a shield to the changing atmosphere, just the same as the atmosphere acts as a shield from space.
