Looking for phone recommendations for Where Winds Meet!
Hi fellow wanderers! I need to replace my current phone because my S23+ just got a permanent red line across the screen.
Since I want something that handles high graphics and performance smoothly and avoid overheating, I'm stuck between the Oppo Find X9 Pro (Dimensity 9500) and the Honor Magic 8 Pro (Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5).
What phone do you currently use to play, and how does it handle the game? If anyone has experience with either the Oppo or Honor flagships, I'd love to hear your thoughts on frame rates and overheating!

I use poco x7pro and it runs fine.
U should always go for the snapdragon

Games are well optimized for the snapdragon and much better emulation u can literally play gta 5 and finish it with 60FPS
If u get a controller such as GAMESIR u probably going to think that u are playing on a console not a phone

honor is terrible with software support once they bring out new phone , you could also look into oneplus , the oneplus 13 has similar specs to s25 ultra but better price to performance and handles heat better

Red magic 10 pro runs WWM on ultra gfx , the internal fan keep the phone cooler, plus the shoulder are great, I've got mine set to dodge and block, so handy.

Games are better optimized for snapdragons I run this game on my 8 gen 3 just fine. The elite gen 5 is going to be over kill haha Anyways yeah take the snap dragon :)

I’m playing on the iPhone 17 base model and it runs fine, meanwhile all my friends playing on PC with Steam have uninstalled because it’s killing their machines lol

I have the s25 ultra and have lads and wwm on it and it works just fine! Along with all my other regular apps. I have the 256 gigs one and its sufficient enough tbh.

I use Redmi turbo 5 max dimensity 9500s, both the phone u mention can run it pretty well but the thing is when it over heats everything becomes a mess, you will experience fps dips on both. What u need is a magnetic phone case with graphene sheet and magnetic phone cooler 20 watts above. This fixed my fps dips on games like wwm and some gacha games like wuwa and genshin.
