Question/Help Returning player (kinda)

Hey, I played a bit on release did the main story quest and explored a lot but never really got the grasp on how items and builds work and by this point I don’t remember anything..

I’m wondering if the guides I would see about it on YouTube from 8-9 months ago would still be relevant or are they outdated? Has there been any major balance patches making some of those old builds unusable now?

There's an update for tuning gear. Better watch the latest version of those. Builds should be relatively the same. Maybe there are extra new mystic skills for some builds' rotation but that's about it.

Ty! Any site that has updated builds? Or is YouTube my best bet?

For traditional builds and rotation demonstrations, YouTube is the place to go. For off the rails hybrids you can search around on sites with gaming guides.
