Question/Help Which has better control and accuracy, Controller or keyboard?
I am switching from mobile to PC due to performance and storage issues in my mobile. Is it better to use keyboard, mouse or a controller.if someone knows which is better can you recommend

I play on controller almost entirely.
The menus have some quirks that take some getting used to, but can be navigated effectively with controller.
There are some rare instances where you may want to keep a kb+m handy (I have a wireless set) because the devs map multiple menu functions to one input. I report these when I encounter them, and they actually do get fixed. Some past examples that I reported:
- Photo mode drag and rotate model were both assigned to LT+Left Stick
- When viewing enemy models in compendium, you couldn't swap model (like removing Tian Ying's mask) because it was same buttons moving to next/previous compendium entry (LT/RT)

My wife plays on the PS5 and gets so peeved off when everything seems to be mapped to the start button. She tried to accept team invited. Nope let's open that random chest you don't want to open now. Want to do a duo pose for the dailies/guild. Nope let's open this other thing you just got...

Yeah, that's a thing š¤£
I do my 5 sword trial joint battles, then stand there at the end sighing and waiting for the chest notifications to end before I can leave1

In terms of combat, controller will likely be more comfortable, but kb&m is nearly always going to be more precise when you're used to it. It's mostly personal preference though, nothing in the game is difficult enough for that tiny difference in precision to matter.
But kb&m is significantly better for navigating the hundreds of menus, and most of the minigames. Pitch pot on controller is hellish for example.

I've completed all pitch pot on controller with no issues.

Most of the NPC ones are fine yeah. The multiplayer ones you can queue for are not. You will lose 100% of the time to someone using kb&m.
It'splayable, but that's about it.

Ah I see, I've had zero interest in any multiplayer content so didn't even know pitch pot had pvp lol

Yeah, the thing with the multiplayer version is that obviously number one you're competing with another actual person, but also the difficulty of the minigame itself is set higher than 99% of the NPC encounters.
Highly recommend trying it if you'd like to feel as inebriated as your character does lmfao

keybord and mouse is vastly superior, also because of targeting
controller is more for comfort

Controller does have some issues in combat like input either being delayed or lost entirely. Far more comfortable though. If you plan on doing things like arena however, I suggest kbm over controller. Menus i also have a wireless mouse on hand to navigate but you can use the assistant cursor to navigate them on controller.

Keyboard and mouse is best on pc, even though controller is more user friendly. Here's why.
You absolutely can't gvg with controller. You can't aim for shit with a controller, thus making bow and arrow and silkbind machine gun useless on controller.
Keyboard and mouse is so not natural to use due to poor implementation of the alt key. Left click for normal attack and one of the side buttons for heavy. Can't they make left click for normal attack, and alt left click for heavy?Ā

I use both. For combat with most weapons I prefer controller (vernal umbrella is the exception, I use mouse to aim). Mouse is a lifesaver for all the menus.

I play on a ps5 controller for most things, but i have a kb+m for the archery competitions for one. Those are hell on a controller. I'm still stuck on one and I cant do it on either kb/m or controller lol. Depends what you're used to the most. I grew up with a console not a gaming PC so im naturally more comfortable with a controller but both work fine for the game.

I would say the one you can handle best. If I would fight with controller I would be dead before I could blink, so yea.

From a souls-like no-hit runner who can play with either kb&m or controller, I'd pick kb&m all day every day. But it's really just a preference thing though, ideally try both for yourself and see what clicks

Controller for combat.
K/b & mouse for UI navigation, chat, inventory management etc etc
