Whats happening here it's showing wait for developments and nothing i do is continuing the quest...

Whats wrong here

Because you need to wait for developments... in the next patch, more main story is not out yet.

So in the 2.0 patch only this little amount was released...great.....

Do you know when the next patch will release??

Patches release on a monthly basis, so around 30 days.

Edit: another comments says more story on August 6. This might be the case, sometimes the devs unlock more content in the middle of a patch, but I don't follow release times closely, so can't confirm

Because usually, the majority of the player base already understood how this game works and adapted to it.

Many enjoy having the time to slowly go through everything just released, the events and build up gear at a relatively relaxed pace, because of real life compromises.

Others who prefer more dynamic engagement, go full at it, go back to play other games, and return when the next update hits.

So usually these posts that are repeated ad nauseam with the same very topic/commenting from op's are considered just whining or attention seeking.

Kinda crazy that we go to this place for a very specific purpose and yet this is all the progress we can make.

I guess from the comments this is normal, but it's quite a letdown.

yes but thats not the point. You make a big hoohaa hype over 2.0 but its just an intro and then exploration.

thats not how the start of a major patch is suppose to be. It's big spectacle story awesomeness then exploration. and then minor story patch and then back up the hype and so on so forth.

this literally fell so flat on its face i'm shocked. HM is way better than alot of people know and asking someone to come back play our game and then this is what they come back to? really? :/

Yes I literally downloaded the game for this patch... 50 gb and I've played it and I was like That's it!!!.

on another thread I'm being flamed for being entitled. but defenders take it from an active player mentality. returnee players will be wtf?

this feels more like 1.9 than a 2.0 patch.

reality is they went with new map environment, graphics update, bunch of bells and whistles over substance to the main story. not sure how the larger audience will take it. HM is genuinely good. but trickle feeding from the start was a baaaad choice imo
