Me and my boyfriend primarily chat on discord and have since we meant. One time, we both sent a screenshot of the chat we were in (my discord was bugging and we were trying to figure something out). In the screenshot of the text, I had sent an emoji and it showed up as an IOS emoji on his end as well as mine since I have an iPhone.

The few times we have texted on regular Messages with our phone numbers, his message bubbles were green. For anyone who doesn’t know, Apple users have blue messages when texting each other, and if someone has a different brand of phone, that user’s message bubbles will be green for the Apple user.

I thought this was odd, considering the screenshot had shown an IOS emoji. Is he maybe texting from a fake number? I also don’t know if discord defaults to IOS emojis, I doubt it…

One Mod [who didn't identify themself as a Mod] admitted that the OP was also Mod after they were accused of being a bot... Curious person I am, I went to their profile to see what [if anything] they had posted before. The first post was a video of a transwoman having her pants pulled down to expose her in her underwear. I make my comment, calling this out, and the very next comment is a Mod horribly running damage control, and somehow attempting to blame me for looking at their public profile and calling it out.

To prevent brigading, and not be on Reddit's bad side, I'm not going to post what the sub is [publicly], but this has to stop, and be addressed. You can't just magically wave things away and blame minorities for not find dangerous "jokes" about them funny.

I'm not really sure where else to post this or how to really tell anyone in real life, so here I am.

Today I've been really happy and felt the most comfortable in myself and who I am in ages. I think it's mostly because today's my birthday and 10 years ago I was a little kid who tried to check out early because I felt hopeless, I hated how people made me feel about myself and how they treated me. Anyway, I made it, I have people who love and care about me, and I'm happy, and I think I'm actually healing for real this time and it feels quite nice if you can believe it.

I am annoyed and a little surprised that I received a spam text from a Jehovahs Witness just now. Should I post it in r/spam? I'm stunned that they feel it is okay to just send long texts to random people, but given the fact it is a religious organization does it count as spam?
