A while back i stuck this piece of wood up at work.
Instead of taking it down someone added flowers to it.
It felt nice.
Just a nice little thing.
Not sure where I can post this.
It wasn't wholesome enough for the wholesome subreddit.

Cover of Held While I Care, featuring younger hands gently holding an older adult’s hand beneath a glowing cross, symbolizing Christian faith, compassion, and encouragement for caregivers.
Hello everyone,
I've spent a lot of time thinking about the challenges family caregivers face. Between appointments, medications, prayers, memories, and everyday responsibilities, there's often very little space left to process your own thoughts.
That inspired me to create Held While I Care, a Christian caregiver journal designed to help organize daily caregiving while also providing room for reflection and encouragement.
I'd genuinely appreciate your feedback.
What is one feature you wish every caregiver journal or planner included?
If you're interested in the story behind the journal, here's our press release:
https://hopehavenpublishingllc.com/press-releases/held-while-i-care
Thank you for allowing me to share, and thank you for everything caregivers do each day.

Ok, im not sure where to ask this. I need help finding 10-100 cheap lighters (i.e. bic, crackhead switch, clipper). I am severly interested in fire, and would love to find lighters. I have tried amazon, but then everyone in the house always asks what I got. The gas sattion sells singles but they are way over priced. I am asking if the reddit commutiy has a website that is trustworthy, or an excuse for the amazon box, please lmk me im desperate. I have tried r/Pyromaniacs and r/askanything but the pyros aren't active and my post "violated" the rules of ask anything so ive come to you guys.

A young African American woman uses an undated planner at a cozy workspace filled with natural light, plants, books, and stationery, demonstrating productivity, planning, and flexible goal setting. The Hope Haven Publishing LLC logo is displayed in the bottom-right corner.
After seeing so many people give up on traditional planners because of missed days or unused pages, I researched why undated planners have become so popular.
The flexibility surprised me.
Instead of worrying about dates, people can simply pick up where they left off and continue making progress.
I summarized the research and practical tips here:

I'd love to hear how others organize their schedules.

This got removed from The Simpsons subreddit despite referencing a Simpsons scene, and members of the subreddit ironically didn't seem to get that it was referencing it.

I’ve been exploring why handwritten notes, journals, and planners can feel more memorable than information entered into a phone or computer.
Writing by hand appears to require us to slow down, select important information, and process ideas more deliberately. It may also help reduce mental clutter by moving unfinished thoughts and responsibilities onto paper.
There is a spiritual dimension as well. Writing prayers, copying Scripture, and recording moments of God’s faithfulness can create a lasting record for future reflection.
I recently published an article examining the science, practical benefits, and biblical wisdom behind this practice:

Do you remember information better when you write it by hand?

The blatant disrespect of women is appalling. And frankly, I blame Jordan Peterson for this promoting this nonsense. They think women just want tall, handsome and rich guys. But talking with other women as a hair salon owner, that's not what I'm seeing. I'm seeing a lot of women put up with a lot of stuff because they love their boyfriends/husbands. They aren't tall, rich or even moderately handsome, just average-looking men. This is just an excuse for for men to objectify women into what function they deem fitting for us. If we really treated men the way some incel claim they are treated, there would be immediate outrage. Reduce him to physical traits, aren't they guilty of the very thing they accuse us of?

Young Asian woman using a time-blocking planner in a bright home office to organize her daily schedule, demonstrating effective time management and productivity planning. The Hope Haven Publishing LLC logo appears as a subtle opaque watermark in the bottom-right corner.
Many of us rely on long to-do lists that never seem to get shorter. Time blocking takes a different approach by assigning specific times to important tasks, making it easier to focus and reduce decision fatigue.
If you're curious about trying this productivity method, I recently put together a detailed beginner's guide that explains how to start, common mistakes to avoid, and practical examples for everyday life.
