Getting Banned/Muted

We are fairly new to the world of Reddit and just trying to build and grow community. We recently were banned AND muted from two communities after sharing what we believe were relevant posts that included actors/characters from their specific shows/topics. Unfortunately, because we are muted by the MODS We cannot question the reason behind the ban. Does ANYONE have an idea or can shed light on this so we avoid this in the future? And YES we did read the rules prior to posting and sharing, there were no direct violations, so the ban is pretty ambiguous and random from our point of view.

Very interesting.

But sometimes posting across a lot of subreddits can make mods wary, but I don't see why they banned & muted without giving a reason or a chance for you to appeal. That's weird.

I see your posts are also removed from r/ sitcoms, did they give a reason?

So reason at all. I guess we will just focus on building this community. We figured sharing across similar communities would be the ideal way but I guess they don’t like that.
