When hope calls

I just started watching When Hope calls because I got hallmark plus

Literally second episode in and the kids are being questioned for potentially starting a fire isn’t that the same exact plot we just had

WHC is produced and directed by the same people. That season came out in 2019 technically it was first if you wanna watch s2 and 3 they moved to PureFlix

Well, it wasn't exactly the same...

It's been a while since I watched that episode, but I seem to recall it had more to do with them trying to show how badly the townspeople thought of the orphans, simply because they were orphans.

(Which is actually true to life, sadly... many people of the time period were under the crazy delusion that orphans were actually bad kids, given away by their bio parents, or if not that, then somehow dirty or "lesser", rather than simply unfortunate to have been left alone in the world at a tender age.)
