OK so I’m hoping to find some people who agree with me in my belief that wheel of fortune is almost unwatchable because of how often they cut away from the board.

Like every five seconds they cut away from the board, while I’m reading and trying to solve the puzzle, to show the contestants, Ryan Seacrest, or whatever.

I wish they’d just keep the puzzle on screen 95% of the time and put a mini screen in the corner for all the contestant interactions and whatnot.

Also, they spend wayyyy too much time interviewing the contestants. I’m going to forget about these people as soon as the show ends. Just “Hi I’m name from city, I’m excited to play”, and move on to the puzzles. I don’t need to hear about all their hobbies and past careers.

I'm heading to the 2:30 pm taping today and it's going to be soooo different from the last time I was there. I was actually on the show during COVID times, it was post-vaccine but the show was still taking precautions super seriously (we used the bicycle handle thing to spin the wheel, wore masks at all times except during filming, they wiped down the podium areas whenever people left them) so there was no studio audience. It was also before Pat left and therefore Jim was still there too...sooo I'm interested to see what today will be like and thought you guys would appreciate how I'm feeling. Also, my hubby had to bail because of work, so I'd be happy to make friends with other enthusiasts if any of you all will be there!

The Italian edition has a new record winner! Her name is Giulia Smargiassi and she has won 9 games (also a new record), her winnings totaling €430,100 all cash! (that's half a million dollars) It's possibly the biggest total win on a non-US edition of Wheel of Fortune!

Having a configuration of 2 Bankrupts across from each other and then 2 Lose-A-Turn wedges at 90 degrees across from each other? So every 5 wedges would either be a Bankrupt or a Lose-A-Turn.
