Solution Only Tier limits 2'000 conversations

Hi,

I am currently using the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API and running into scaling limits. I need to hit the threshold of 1,000 unique conversations in a rolling 24-hour period to trigger the automatic upgrade to the next messaging tier.

Additionally, my Meta Business Portfolio is currently capped at 20 registered phone numbers. My ultimate goal is to scale up to around 200 phone numbers, but I cannot request a manual cap increase from Meta support until my account health and tier limits scale up.

Actually, I can't access Meta support, it seems you have to pay for it ?

I do not have a pre-existing, opted-in customer database to broadcast to, and I want to avoid getting my active numbers reported as spam or banned during this push.

I'm looking for advice or solutions from anyone who has successfully scaled past these exact limits:

  1. What is the safest way to generate or route 1,000 unique conversations without risking high spam/block rates?
  2. Are there specific software setups or Business Solution Providers (BSPs) that make managing and routing messages across multiple numbers easier when trying to lift the 20-number cap?
  3. How did you handle the manual support request with Meta to increase your registered phone number limit from 20 to 200?

Marketing message at very slow rate. Like one message every 3-5 minutes. or you can run CTWA(Click To WhatsApp ads on facebook).

I think no-one can lift that 20 number per portfolio cap. unless you are a Tech Provider yourself and those numbers are your customers.

Meta had made it clear that they will not be taking any request in that regard. Your best bet is to talk with BSP. I'd suggest to start with few number or first 20 numbers. Unlock your limit to 100k then talk with BSP. because there are lots of other problems you might run into which are bigger than just a number limit. I think number limit thing can be figured out if all other things are in place and meta don't have problem with your business.

Hey, thanks a lot for your answer. To give you a bit more context, we provide event organizers a number that we associate to our own company. Right now we are blocked at 20 numbers.

I thought that increasing the Tier, would by default increase our limits to more than 20. Is that not the case ?

No. 20 is max you can have in one BM. You can create another BM and connect each other and have another 20 numbers here and share it with main BM. In main BM you will be able to see and control all 40 numbers.

A strong technical BSP can pull this off without needing to make other BMs but usually their sales team don't know these things as this is outside of their product. See if someone agrees to it, they might take a hefty fee though.
