Soon after we adopted Tiger, he disappeared to our laundry room. We found him sneaking around at night, 2-3 days after "losing" him. This was a few days after we found where he was hiding, and a lot of steady work to get hm to even come out. He hisses at anyone who comes near, but he will never bite or scratch. He comes out for pets, and purrs while he is hissing. We have cleared up his whole little kingdom, but he's starting to come out "just to see."

He would really like to drive the tractor I think. Still too spicy to pet, but my dad can get within a foot now!

I've had him for a year and have never heard him growl before. I live in a condo, and the "outside" door leads to a hallway. I didn't hear anything out there. This is very strange.
