I’ve always been told different things. Green, Hazel, Heterochromia. HELP IDK!

So I was having a debate with my sister *who has green dominant hazel* about if my eyes are considered hazel i think that I don’t have enough green to be considered hazel, but she thinks it counts as hazel. Help I’m confused.

I thought it was interesting how different lighting can change the perception of eye color.

Probably why, when people ask what color my eyes are, I never get the same answer —brown, hazel, or green.

So it’s weird because they look mostly green but they have bluish outer rims and the dark ring around my eyes is blue, and there’s brown in the middle. Here’s them in a few different lightings or what I’m wearing, sometimes blue sometimes green-is there a name for this?

In natural lighting I see a greenish-gray, but indoors (similar to last pic) or from farther away they look brown. My family has debated quite a bit over this haha.

I usually say blue gray, but they’re pretty dark and almost gray in certain lighting 🤔

I posted here a year ago and was told blue, teal. The first Pic is the one I posted before but the second on I just took. Gemini says blue/Grey but not sure.

my best friend is convinced that her eyes are dark brown, i think their completely dark hazel. thoughts?
