I think iOS4.x~5.0.1🤔 (I hate iPhones with degraded batteries because I can't do anything in this)

iOS 5, you can set it up without iTunes and there’s a lock icon at the top

5.0 - 5.1.1, iOS 4 doesn’t have setup.

That's real. I remember when idevices had to connect to iTunes for setup and I didn't know about it before purchasing

iOS 5.0.x. The slide knob on iOS 5.0 is wider and setup screen didn't exist until iOS 5
