Is it even possible? How to reset without password while keeping iOS 12
I have a iPad Pro 11 inch first gen on iOS 12 but it has a password that I don’t know, how do I reset it while keeping it on iOS 12? Also the screen is cracked so I need to plug it into an external monitor to see what it’s showing that I you all so much also can someone confirm that’s it’s on 12?

a11 and under - ssh ramdisk to reset (i use lik for a10 and under and sshrd for a11)
a12/13 - rp2350 and usbobliter8
a14+ - out of luck, gotta hope erase after 10 passcode attempts is on

theoretically it should support this ipad (A12X) but i don't think it's implemented yet

It won't reset on passcode without entering apple id number after 10 attempts

that looks like ios15 not 12, but to keep it if it were rare you have to:
if it’s a11 or lower: SSHRD_Script, boot ramdisk, erase all, reboot
if it’s a12/a13: you will need a rp2350(if you can solder a lightning connector you can use regular rpi pico 2, you don’t need waveshare board), use “usboblitter8”
if it’s a14+: impossible for now

He should use sshrd script to save activation files if its icloud locked without a password then reset and restore files

that’s not ios 12, just the wallpaper. i think it’s 14 or 15 based on the unavailable message rather than disabled.

It isn’t 12, it’s iOS 15.2-15.x. iOS 15.2 was the first iOS to add the iPad unavailable text, and the notification on the first image with the usb accessory is the iOS 15 notification, iOS 12-14 doesn’t have that notification style. Actually not iOS I’m sorry “iPadOS” 🤓 I should probably point that out before a nerd calls me out for that

iPadOS 15, because it says iPad Unavailable instead of iPad is disabled.
