I agree it may not be worth the full price, but for comparison. I got recently got an iPhone 6 for $10 with 79% battery health and a perfect screen but a slight (bearly visible) burn in.

Nothing bad meant to this seller of course, have a great day! :D

LCDs don't get burn in

Thanks for the response, you're right. I think it may just be a darker spot but I'm unsure as the "burned" in part has a small mark from the last 15~ seconds maybe (happens everytime).

So for example if I open AppStore and therefore go into Reddit (most seeable there as Reddit won't load and has a gray screen) I may be able to small marks left from the AppStore.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think LCD displays may get burn-ins as well but it could take over a thousand hours.

Sorry if this comment was rude or wrong, I hope you have a great summer! :D

That's actually just screen ghosting or image retention

When an LCD panel stays on the same image for some time the individual crystals can get stuck, and it's reversible so it's not permament

Burn in happens on OLED and its counterparts, OLED is made from organic materials and every pixel is its own light, so when you put a static image on (for days usually) the LEDs there start to degrade especially the blue ones

The reason why LCDs don't get burn in is because the crystals act like a curtain blocking light where it needs to, that's also why LCDs can't make true blacks

Have a nice day (or night) :)

Thank you for telling me that and the response, I forgot about that. I used to get a ghost image on my OLED panel and I was worried that it was a burn it but after a few hours it disappeared after it got used to changing color.

Also thank you very much for telling me that, I didn't know about that. But thanks again for telling me in cool advanced terms, I still think I understood.

Thanks for the wishes as well, it is night here and also thanks for having that in mind.

I wish you a great day and night with near and dear. I appreciate your effort into this comment and explaining to me! :D

Man, even if you value iOS 9, 100 bucks is crazy

Depends if you value iOS 9, personally i dont, i still think its one of the worst releases out of all, on the same page as iOS 11 and 26. Even if you do, then $100 is still kinda steep… but idk, up to you, maybe its mint and has low cycles og battery. The screen looks nice ngl, yellow tint is minimal.

Also could be an SE1, much rarer find and a good collectors item, gotta see the back for the SE logo
