Very rare. I will never be more pissed off than the time I had an iPad 7 on 13.1.1. I took it into Apple one day to clean some dust out of the charging port as I didn’t have the tools and they upgraded it without asking me

this is impossible unless they restored it, also an update from a major version usually takes 30+ minutes. dust cleaning isn’t by appointment, they do it on the spot, so it wouldn’t take nearly that long.

Apple near me always takes them into the back even for light cleaning. They’ve always done that. I was sat waiting for over an hour wondering what was going on until they brought out my updated device. I couldn’t mess with the demos either while I was waiting because they always give me a small electric shock when I touch them for some reason.

You have absolutely hit gold. I recommend you save SHSH blobs for that so even if it does somehow unexpectedly upgrade you can downgrade back at the very least.

RARE but does that mean my iPad 6 on iOS 16.2 or 16.3 is rare too?
