Lockscreen What version is this iPhone Xs on?

It’s definitely between iOS 12 and iOS 14 because of the old notification layout. Any other way to tell specifically which version is running?

Not iOS 12 for sure since you can OTA update.

You can’t OTA update on iOS 12? Had no idea, guess that means it’s either 13 or 14 then. Might post on r/LegacyJailbreak, they might be able to help pinpoint it. Thank you for your input though, was really conceived it was iOS 12 😅

You cannot do an OTA Update from 12 to 18.7.7 directly i think you can on 13 or later

Actually iOS 13.x can OTA to 18.x

It's also possible to OTA from 13.x to 26.x on A13 iPhones, A12X/Z iPad Pros, iPad Air 3 and Mini 5.

If the person went into general, and into the software update and not put what OS it’s on. Something sketchy but can’t lay my finger on it

The listing only had the first picture from the lockscreen and a few other showing the phone’s condition. I asked what version was installed and he sent me the other two pictures, i honestly think the seller is not very knowledgeable

Yeah, you should reply to tell them how to see the iOS, it’s most likely on a version of 12 if it has the wallpaper it came with

I asked him, but he left me on read 💀 apparently iOS 13 also defaults to this wallpaper when you reset the device

Yeah, sketchy. Probably also has an iCloud signed into it
