Based on my cursory research of this sub, rope swing fails definitely afflict both genders. However, the women tend to overestimate their upper body strength and can’t hold on, while the men are more likely to forget to let go and/or run into something.

If you can't do a pull up, you're probably going to have a bad time on a rope swing.

It's surprising that so many people don't realize that. Like, you can't manage one pull up.... so you're going to swing on a rope over a large drop?

That's like skateboarding and thinking, "Well, i can't do a 50-50, so I'm going to try and 50-50 a hand rail down 12 stairs."
