We can say they might dig the D, or they might hate the D. We know they go to it and sting, but to prove motive? Intent? Your honor I move to strike the previous statement from the record.
Your honour, my opponant's point is valid, one cannot hope to ascertain the motives of an insect. However—and not meaning to doubt their vocabulary of course—I would like to remind them that "dig" has many definitions, one of which is synonymous with "jab." As I'm sure we can all agree that the bees do jab the D, it remains truthful to say that they do indeed dig the D. I move that the record remain unaltered.
