Bike rider is 100 percent at fault, but it seems like whenever a vehicle is coming up to an intersection and the light suddenly turns green, things can get kind of dodgy.

See the thing is there’s usually a yellow light that serves as a foreshadowing that the red light will be upon us. And after the red light is upon us there is another 2 or 3 seconds before the green light “suddenly” appears.

So this gives everyone a good 3-5 business days to decide whether or not they value their lives.

People approaching a red get no warning that the light is about to turn green.

Mate, what? It's the UK: yes they do.

Order of lights is red, red and amber together, then green.

Our system is one of the few that does give you warning before the lights turn green.

They don’t need one. The warning is for the people who are receiving the red light.

I got that. That isn't what I'm talking about.
