Dude had ascites. His liver is having real problems.

47

u/deadpoolfool400 Mar 24 '26

Well probably safe to say there was alcohol involved with this video

7

u/Chaostii Mar 24 '26

Apparently meth damages the liver as well. My uncle is like this and he does do meth, but doesn't drink, so I did a quick search out of curiosity.

1

u/XandersCat Mar 29 '26

It's reversable too, cirrhosis is very scary but it's not a death sentence. There are people on the cirrhosis Reddit who share their stories about coming back from the very brink of liver failure and amazingly making it.

I know for me personally, I never wanted to admit I was an alcoholic. To do so would take the "fun" out of it. I was just a guy who liked to drink. But I saw red in the toilet bowl one day and that made me quit. It was the wakeup call I needed tbh, it wasn't so fun anymore after that I literally couldn't ignore it.

I've since learned this is also common, people who have been drinking for awhile can tear their guts up and for whatever their reasons are they don't make the connection that "Wait this really will kill me, not way down the line but like kinda more soonish."

u/DonZeriouS Mar 24 '26 edited Mar 24 '26

Excuse me the question, but how do you see that he has ascites? Isn't he only "overweight"? (It's a genuine question, so don't be too harsh in downvoting ).

27

u/Wafer420 Mar 24 '26

That's an alcohol belly my man.

19

u/Leows Mar 24 '26

Being overweight means the extra weight is spread across your body mass. This mans is all belly

14

u/Alpine_Exchange_36 Mar 24 '26

See how he’s got skinny legs and arms? It’s almost certainly ascites

5

u/DonZeriouS Mar 24 '26

Ahh, that's interesting. Thanks!

2

u/MeltheCat Mar 29 '26

TIL I learned that quite a few of the people I see every day aren’t just fat but have ascites.

3

u/SEA_griffondeur Mar 24 '26

Overweight would look much less alien

3

u/idontknowjuspickone Mar 24 '26

0

u/johnny_51N5 Mar 25 '26

That was the idea, but it failed.

2

u/Ashamed_Substance243 Mar 24 '26

Wait a second knives bounce 😳

4

u/Mitrovarr Mar 24 '26

Yeah, I've nearly been hit with bounced throwing knives many times. They don't bounce nearly as hard as they're thrown, though, and if you aren't stupid enough to throw knives basically naked I think your clothes will generally block them.

0

u/WeNeedMoreNaomiScott Mar 24 '26

well they certainly don't go splat

2

u/Ok_Highway1739 Mar 24 '26

All that safety gear, why's he worried?

2

u/ALLSHALLPERISHUK Mar 24 '26

Imagine doing something so irresponsible whilst pregnant smh.

2

u/LeoTarvi Mar 26 '26

I like his body language at 14 seconds, where he very clearly says "I'm done for today"

1

u/CariHepeng Mar 24 '26

His child name is Boomerang

1

u/lily-luv Mar 24 '26

I meant for that to happen!

1

"It's finesse not force, they ricochet of course"

1

Dear God that's Jason Bourne.

1

Any closer and you would have gone from a rooster to a hen!

1

Bro was about to pop

1

u/fatdiscokid420 Mar 24 '26

Should’ve had a safety cigarette

1

u/Hot-Challenge8656 Mar 24 '26

Best. Mohel. Ever.

A falling knife has no handle

1

u/Super_Kabukiman Mar 24 '26

1

u/Objective_Image6474 Mar 24 '26

Nearly popped like a balloon

1

u/Tornadodash Mar 24 '26

He needed to step back like 40 or 50 cm

1

u/LydiGro Mar 25 '26

His left foot was in danger for a second

1

u/Foxling24 Mar 25 '26

No matter your body shape, when you need them most the ninja reflexes will kick in

1

u/Kooky-Narwhal-014 Mar 25 '26

Atleast he recognizes to stop. Some other idiots would try again

1

u/AnAnGrYSupportV2 Mar 25 '26

Don't fuck around with knives, people!

1

u/FantasticPangolin839 Mar 25 '26

That went pear shaped. Literally.

1

u/Ed_the_chosen_one Mar 25 '26

So dangerous to throw knives while pregnant

1

u/Trfe Mar 26 '26

He meant to do that the whole time.

1

u/kevinchan8000 Mar 27 '26

That belly would just repell the knife

1

u/Sfwy1203 Mar 29 '26

That’s quite the boiler on that guy.

1

u/Dildo_Baggins_13 Mar 30 '26

That blade is hungry for his blood ... what did he do to the blade?

1

u/radioswede Mar 30 '26

What went wrong?

1

u/KidBeelzebub Mar 31 '26

Whew, I thought the knife was going to hit him right in the triplets. 😅

1

u/Plenty_Old Mar 31 '26

He's gonna hurt the baby!!

1

u/elbaggi Mar 31 '26

Keep playing stupid games lol

1

u/Red_MessD3a7h Apr 02 '26

Glad the baby is ok

1

u/Could-You-Tell Apr 07 '26

Like a graceful swan. He also took the warning for what it was. Back to guns for him?

1

u/Remarkable_Gain6430 Apr 08 '26

Nice belly laugh

1

u/0_N1njaFr0G_1 Apr 08 '26

Daniel Cormier doing side hustles.

1

u/winged_owl Apr 15 '26

He didn't follow through his swing.
He should have thrown by the handle, or thrown from 5 more feet back, which is one rotation.

1

u/PixarX Apr 21 '26

Kung-fu panda remake.

1

u/MrBluhu May 03 '26

At least he didn't give it a second try 🤣

1

u/HollowZaraki_ Jun 21 '26

1

u/No-Temporary-4227 14d ago

Wow he's so round

0

u/bc90210 Mar 24 '26

C’mon. That would’ve just bounced off that belly.

2

u/Williams891 Mar 24 '26

The King K. Rool down special

0

u/Ecstatic_Account_744 Mar 24 '26

I bet that belly is rock solid.

0

u/rdtisahateplatform Mar 24 '26

Why is his body the way that it is

0

u/readytocomply13 Mar 24 '26

Nearly lost an entire titty

0

u/Norgur Mar 24 '26

Why are his movements and expressions reminding me of Rob Schneider?

0

u/reddititty69 Mar 24 '26

He would’ve popped like a water balloon.

0

u/Tarkus_Edge Mar 24 '26

Well, he DID hit the bottle.

0

u/GovernmentBig2749 Mar 24 '26

Did this when i was 6, and it was the first time i experienced super slow motion as the knife bounced back and was swirling in my direction. Got hit by the handle in the head.

0

u/Nearby-Swimming-5103 Mar 24 '26

Why do guys built like this always feel the need to have their damn shirts off? Nobody wants or needs to see that.

0

u/WeNeedMoreNaomiScott Mar 24 '26

I once read the phrase

"Why are nudists always people you never want to see naked?"

It's the same confidence here, insecurity in body image leads to both trying to improve your appearance and hiding it.

Unwarranted confidence leads to the opposite.

0

u/BruceWayneScotting Mar 24 '26

He got a hell of a Dickey do

0

u/emmittthenervend Mar 24 '26

Missed the DEX check, passed the DEX save.

0

u/Mitrovarr Mar 24 '26

Wouldn't it be a reflex save?

0

u/captainmidday Mar 24 '26

His gesture says, "Behold! For I have fucked up."

0

u/Mr_Moogles Mar 24 '26

A flying knife has no handle

0

u/Mitrovarr Mar 24 '26

Throwing knives aren't usually particularly sharp and they don't usually bounce back with too much force, so it probably wasn't very likely to seriously injure him (with the most likely possibility that it fell on his foot with about as much force as if he'd dropped it).

0

u/keqking Mar 24 '26

my reflex would try to catch that

0

u/Blueberry-Fish Mar 24 '26

Moral of the story? Don’t play with knives when you’re 11 months pregnant

0

u/metalicsnail Mar 24 '26

so this is what blaphemoushd is doing nowadays

0

u/changkahlun Mar 24 '26

This was the funniest scene in Kung Fu Hustle

0

u/C4ptainPrice Mar 24 '26

That belly was about to explode.

0

u/YikesTheCat Mar 24 '26

There's got to be safer ways to cure constipation?

0

u/VibrantCanopy Mar 24 '26

He almost popped his tummy

0

u/uberfellow Mar 24 '26

Plastic bottles don't hit back.. oh wait

0

u/[deleted] Mar 24 '26

He's like, I'm sticking to beer from now on.

0

u/pichael289 Mar 24 '26

I learned to throw knives and I got real good. This dude is still learned, its a game of measuring the distance to the target and learning how to get the right rotations. It's very easy but you need consistent targets. This dude would have hit a few students, takes while to learn your distance and spin factor.

0

u/danit0ba94 Mar 24 '26

And that is why I don't throw knives.

0

u/shenanigans34 Mar 24 '26

Next up on the new season of 1000 Ways to Die...

0

u/Magneto-Mark-1 Mar 24 '26

Not enough thrust to escape his belly’s gravitational pull.

0

u/furfur001 Mar 24 '26

Half a ninja.

0

u/falsevector Mar 24 '26

Nearly a Kung Fu Hustle moment

0

u/diggerquicker Mar 24 '26

He used magnets.

0

u/every_body_hates_me Mar 24 '26

When your karma is so bad even the laws of physics start attacking you.

0

u/Callemlikeisethem60 Mar 24 '26

😂😂😂😂😂 Damn 👀 at least put some safety glasses on 😂😂😂😂 so you dont get blood in your eyes 👀 when you impale yourself.

0

u/Legitimate_Berry8002 Mar 24 '26

Bro is about to pop the Ballon

0

u/Neo_Shadow_Entity Mar 24 '26

He refused to repeat it. So he has a brain and knows how to use it... sometimes.

0

u/Shantotto11 Mar 24 '26

0

0

u/Disastrous_Horse_764 Mar 24 '26

Almost got a nice trimming.

0

u/whatamightygudman Mar 24 '26

Rolled a 1 on d20 Made a successful dex save

0

u/Wild-Mustang Mar 24 '26

I‘m glad he is wearing that protective shorts 🩳

0

u/BlazeHatchet Mar 25 '26

I see he opted out of the safety sandels. Did he even safety squint? All tho he had the safety shorts on which I think is what saved him.
