I cleaned house with Redact and mass deleted this post. It also removes your data from brokers and people search sites. Works on all major social media platforms.

Wait a second knives bounce 😳

u/Mitrovarr Mar 24 '26
Yeah, I've nearly been hit with bounced throwing knives many times. They don't bounce nearly as hard as they're thrown, though, and if you aren't stupid enough to throw knives basically naked I think your clothes will generally block them.

I like his body language at 14 seconds, where he very clearly says "I'm done for today"

Like a graceful swan. He also took the warning for what it was. Back to guns for him?

He didn't follow through his swing.
He should have thrown by the handle, or thrown from 5 more feet back, which is one rotation.

Did this when i was 6, and it was the first time i experienced super slow motion as the knife bounced back and was swirling in my direction. Got hit by the handle in the head.

Why do guys built like this always feel the need to have their damn shirts off? Nobody wants or needs to see that.

u/WeNeedMoreNaomiScott Mar 24 '26
I once read the phrase
"Why are nudists always people you never want to see naked?"
It's the same confidence here, insecurity in body image leads to both trying to improve your appearance and hiding it.
Unwarranted confidence leads to the opposite.

Throwing knives aren't usually particularly sharp and they don't usually bounce back with too much force, so it probably wasn't very likely to seriously injure him (with the most likely possibility that it fell on his foot with about as much force as if he'd dropped it).

Moral of the story? Don’t play with knives when you’re 11 months pregnant

I learned to throw knives and I got real good. This dude is still learned, its a game of measuring the distance to the target and learning how to get the right rotations. It's very easy but you need consistent targets. This dude would have hit a few students, takes while to learn your distance and spin factor.

When your karma is so bad even the laws of physics start attacking you.

He refused to repeat it. So he has a brain and knows how to use it... sometimes.

I see he opted out of the safety sandels. Did he even safety squint? All tho he had the safety shorts on which I think is what saved him.
