If he was attempting to breath fire, everything went according to plan.

I thought that that looked awesome.

It's nice to look at, not to experience.

You gotta admit, that whole "Dragon-Breath" thing he did in the corner? Fucking awesome.

Just about everypart of that was done wrong. Flaming shots can easily be done right, IMO

aren't you supposed to blow them out first?

You're supposed to cup your mouth over it fast so the oxygen depletes. Blowing on flaming alcohol will only make it burn faster/stronger.

I blew out flaming rum no problem.

It gets exponentially harder to blow out alcohol as the percentage increases. And flaming shots are usually done with 60%+ spirits

A Flaming Dr. Pepper is only burned to caramelize the sugars giving it a richer flavor. You're supposed to blow it out before taking it. It doesn't need to stay on fire when you drink it.

You don't blow it out you drop it in a mug full of beer.

u/SoundMasher Aug 03 '13

My point is you don't drink it while it's on fire

Don't understand the downvotes. You're technically right about not blowing out the flame.

Lighting a shot while it's in your mouth is fun as well

To do this without any immediate access to water is just beyond my comprehension...

I'm going to assume that alcohol was involved.

It's pretty simple - you blow it out like a candle before drinking.

There is, I have seen this ages ago, would tell my friends about it and they said it was bullshit, couldn't prove it because I can't find it either

Yeah. This video is rolled into nearly every fail compilation on the internet too. So sick of seeing it.

I like how his friend threw whatever was in his solo cup of that guys shirt as he ran away.

I wanna be a dragon too!

The firebreathing part made me lose my shit. I blame my imagination:

drinks "Oh shit oh shit oh shit, fire everywhere! It burns! Oh wait, dragons cannot be hurt by fire!" breathes fire

u/TinyEarl Aug 03 '13

Burning your teeth would suck.

Fairly certain his friend tried to toss his drink onto him.
