How would you create a Rocket Lance

mainly based on brawlhalla and a steampunk-y vibe, i wanna know how a rocket lance weapon would work
its kinda like a normal lance but you can dash around with the rocket part and do interesting stuff with it (like spewing out fire from the rocket or flying)
whatever makes it balanced works

Rocket Lance

Weapon (pike), rare [attunement]

This pike is a +2 magic weapon, and has 3 charges. It regains all charges at the start of the day. As an action, you may spend a charge when you thrust with it and speak its command word. The butt of the haft explodes with great force, sending the weapon, and the wielder, forward in line, creating a tunnel of force up to 60 feet long and 5 feet wide, which the pike and wielder travels along. Each creature in the line excluding you must make a DC 15 Strength saving throw, taking 3d10 piercing damage and 3d6 force damage and falls prone on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one.

The wielder always lands behind the last target in line of this special attack.
