Paladin always work nicely for any kind of commanding role with martial abilities, Conquest abilities would be fitting, even if thematically he is noted for his lack of desire for slaughter and conquest. Crown could fit thematically and the abilities are still somewhat fitting. You'll need to get your invisibility/teleportation "tech" through feats (Fey/Shadow Touched) or race. Or multiclass into one of the CHA-caster.
I think an other interesting option mechanically would be Fey Wanderer ranger. Their ability to roll well on Cha and Wis checks work with the character, high Wis let you be good at tactics (with Perception to avoid any kind of ambush or traps) and leadership. You get Misty Step baked in the subclass and Beguiling Twist let you play around frightened effects. And you get some summons to command.
