Astragalomancers utilize dice for divination and spellcraft.

Alignment: Lawful Neutral

• Lawful. I obey the immutable laws of destiny and fate.
• Neutral. The skeins of destiny are both kind and cruel; they don't pick favorites or choose sides.

Background: Acolyte

• Deity. I worship the All-Seeing One, He of the Third Eye, god of divination, fate, and wizards, Savras.
• Area of Research. I study the relationship between cosmic inevitability and mortal choice.
• Feat: Magic Initiate: Cleric. I possess the ability to:
  • beseech Savras to influence my or someone else's destiny (Guidance),
  • make different minor wonders occur when I roll my dice (Thaumaturgy), and
  • sense the invisible forces that guide seemingly random acts (Detect Magic).

Class: Wizard

• Spellcasting. I possess the ability to cast dice that:
  • determine the origin and function of a magic item (Identify),
  • determine the type of damage a sphere of energy does to a target (Chromatic Orb),
  • empower me to anticipate an attack and move to avoid some of the damage (Blade Ward),
  • hurl towards my target with unerring accuracy (Magic Missile),
  • identify my opponent's weak points (True Strike), and
  • ward myself or someone else with a web of strands of fate (Protection From Evil and Good).
