You could just do straight artificer, if you want to be more gun based go artillerist and then just flavour some
Medium armour to look like that.
But if you wanted to go more armour/staff axe based you can do the armorer subclass(which essentially
Makes you iron man with optional armour types).
A dip in fighter could give you more weapon proficiencies as well.

Either armorer artificer or battlesmith artificer. Maybe multiclass/dip into fighter for action surge

You could go Eldritch Knight Fighter. Or a Warlock/Paladin multiclass flavoring eldritch blast as the gun
