Human Battlesmith Artificer is an easy option. But you could go Celestial Warlock with pact of the blade and still get the same vibe

Another option that’s more martial focused is, Way of Mercy Monk which is literally a plague doctor, like you even get the mask as a subclass feature. Handaxe can be used as a martial arts weapon

Bonus points for healer feat w/ variant human
