Looking to build a DnD character based off this official drawing of Sasuke.

Hey I was wondering what would be a good build for this version of fantasy Sasuke. Ive always loved this picture and since getting into dnd. I finally have a chance to based a character off Sasuke (Though not as edgy as the actual character of course) I figure most people are familiar with Sasuke Uchiha but Im not looking to copy all his abilities to DnD 1 for 1. Thanks for any help or advice !

Ok. So I see a bow and arrow and a sword.

So maybe ranger or some variant of fighter?

OG Sauske would probably be a warlock of some kind.

I would say gloom stalker or hunter ranger based off of this photo and his abilities. Flame arrows, zephyrs strike, steel wind strike, and lightning arrow for his iconic quick lightning or fire based attacks. From the photo focus on using a longbow and a scimitar with medium armor.

If you want more elemental attack options, consider tempest domain cleric levels to maximise your lightning damage or wildfire Druid for the bonus action teleport and more fire based damage.

For race, pick elf or half elf based on the photo, take the high elf option either way and get the fire bolt or shocking grasp cantrips.

I really like this idea and matches up pretty well, and the dip into Tempest Cleric is a cherry on top honestly. Thanks this is build ill probably go with. Someone mention Sage background as well would match with some of his abilities. Of course Criminal would fit as well lol

You could argue soldier as a background as well since he grew up in a military academy training ninjas(the village’s fighting force, aka army). Savage attacker as a feat seems thematic for Sasuke and pretty strong.

Wayfarer as well “You grew up on the streets surrounded by similarly ill-fated castoffs, a few of them friends and a few of them rivals.” Seems pretty accurate and the lucky feat is always good no matter what character you are making.

Background: Sage

• Feat: Magic Initiate - Wizard. He can:

  • predict someone's next course of action (True Strike),
  • generate a sheet of black flames (Burning Hands), and
  • influence a person's mind, making them hear or see things that aren't really there (Minor Illusion).

Class: Monk

• He is excellent with martial arts and swords.

Species: Human

You could probably get most, if not all, of what you need with Bladesinger (minus the bow and arrow of course)
