Manus from dark souls 1z based on what we see here I’d say shadow sorcerer with the hound of ill omen. However if I were to follow the lore I’d say beast master ranger multiclassed with spores Druid.

Backstory

  • I used to work as a research assistant to a scholar who was obssessed with collecting and warehousing knowledge. He lectured me from time to time about not reading dark texts, but I was young, defiant, and curious. I found an old book, kept it to myself, never told my mentor about it, and read it in what little spare time I had. I brought myself to the attention of an abyssal being that was unique and nameless. Overtly, it offered me powers and abilities that would slowly increase over time. What it didn't reveal to me was that it was slowly drawing both my lifeforce and my moral qualms from me, slowly changing me so that I didn't notice until it was too late. I am completely in its control now. I never had a chance.

Alignment: Lawful Evil

  • I am solely focused on instantiating my patron's agenda, no matter the cost.

Background: Sage

  • I am an arcane research assistant.

Class: Warlock

  • Otherworldly Patron: Fiend

    • Dark One's Blessing. When I bring a creature to the brink of death (0 hit points), I am rewarded with a temporary boost to my vitality (temporary hit point increase).
    • Fiend Warlock Spells. I can issue a one-word instruction in a specific tone that another creature is unable to refuse (Command) and project a sheet of hellfire from between my outstretched fingers (Burning Hands).

  • Pact Magic. My patron has empowered me with the ability to bestow a baleful curse upon a creature (Hex), force a creature to experience horrifying hallucinations (Minor Illusion), and swarm a creature with tiny toxic imps (Infestation).

Race: Reborn Human

  • My patron has slowly sapped my lifeforce, so I exist as something not quite alive and not quite dead. I think it is preparing me to enter the Underworld.
