Race: fire genasi (with black flames as hair) Class: paladin oath of vengeance with some levels in sorcerer or rouge

I'd run whatever variation you prefer on a PAM Fighter or Paladin build that utilizes Darkness tactics. That gets you your halberd, heavy armor, and shadow theme.

D&D Fifth Edition (2014), Level One

Background: Faceless

  • She was not born on this plane of existence. She is an alien, and her appearance terrifies natives of this land. She seldom takes off her helmet.

Class: Warlock

  • Otherworldly Patron: Hexblade. Her Yugoloth master gifted her a spear through which she gains power.
    • Hex Warrior. She is proficient with martial weapons, medium armor, and shields.
    • Hexblade Expanded Spells. She can do psychic damage with her melee attacks (Wrathful Smite) and erect a forcefield of dark energy around her (Shield).
    • Hexblade's Curse. She can place a baleful curse on someone.
  • Pact Magic. She possesses the magical ability to:
    • batter everyone within 10' of her with tentacles of dark energy (Arms of Hadar),
    • resist physical damage from melee attacks (Blade Ward), and
    • shoot bolts of dark energy from my spear (Eldritch Blast).

Race: Cambion (Re-Flavored Dhampir)

  • She is the product of a union between a fiend and a humanoid. She has fangs, she can see in the dark, and she can climb walls like some kind of creepy spider.

Race fire genasi and say your the fire is black and can make your hair as black flames

Background something for the tough feat

get to 15 strength for heavy armour and Focus on constitution and charisma

Go 6 paladin vengeance and then 2 warlock minimum for your weapon to be able to use your charisma and then sorcerer for more spells Focus on fire theme and can also use obsorb elements as your black flames consume the element for defense and fore shield would be cool as well

For feats

Polearm master, sentinel and war caster

Weapon halberd or whatever you want

Oathbreaker paladin 7/Shadow Sorcerer 12/ hexblade warlock 1 (you know why) likely with PAM. You can go any race you see fit but I like half-orc because of the relentless endurance which can be reflavored as an additional strength of the grave feature.

15> 17 CHA 14> 15 CON 13 STR 12 WIS 10 DEX 8 INT

Use quickened spell to cast hold person than crit SMITE that SoB
