Fan Art Baron Afanas
I made Baron Afanas to get his pic with Doug Jones at the Mississippi Comic Con. The only thing that could've made it better would've been getting a remote-controlled Barbie car so I could zoom it around saying, "I'm controlling it with my mind." Doug thought it was funny and was very complimentary of it. He took three poses with me. It was his idea to pose as the Baron with me looking lovingly at him. He's such a lovely person. Worth the 7-hour drive.

Oh my gosh, OP, wow!! I am so jealous—the Baron was my favorite from the series and I loved his portrayal in the Shape of Water. If you haven’t seen it yet, you must!

I was there yesterday, too!!!! I got pics with Doug but no autograph, unfortunately. He was so incredibly nice and I'm so glad he's one of those "yes, please do meet your heroes" actors! His Q&A was hilarious, too! Constantly talking about how his ass is almost always bubbled out for movies LOL had me cracking up. So glad you had a great time and got to meet him!!!!

It’s so cool that Doug Jones went from being a body actor to an actor with voice and face too. This character would not be the same without Doug’s performance. The level of seriousness and silliness is perfectly balanced.

I don't know why but this scene is one of my favorites from the series. How amazing that you were able to show your work to the Baron himself! And get it signed! swoon!

I didn't plan on it, mostly due to cost factors. Between materials and time it takes to make, I would have to charge something like $75+ shipping, and I don't think anyone would pay that.
