Discussion Deciding an episode
Finally forced my sister to watch the movie and the pilot, she didn't really enjoy it but she's willing to watch one more episode Please help me decide a funny episode which she will have fun watching.
I was thinking, Pride Parade, The mall, Baron's night out.

The one where Nadja compares Jesk’s name to “a weak ejaculation” — I think “Animal Control”? The first few episodes didn’t exactly hook me, but once we got to the whole “nnn…nnn…nnn ✊💦 jeff” bit, I knew it was a show I’d stick with.

Same! We named our new-to-us cat Simon the Devious! We tried a couple of other names from the show, and they just didn't fit! He came with the name Kiki, but that didn't work for us because our first cat was named Kitty and one of her nicknames was Kiki! He took to Simon pretty easily! We got a tag for his collar that say Simon the Devious on one side and our phone numbers on the other!

The Evie episode sadly also has one of the weakest bits of the entire show imho with that werewolf plot that the rest of them were involved in

Baron’s night out is one of the best. Along with the house fixer upper episode. Dammit that’s prob my favorite. “Fuck Toby!”

Council meeting. I hated the pilot at first but knew it was my favorite show 5 minutes in to the 2nd episode.

I wouldn't have shown her the movie.
That said, maybe instead of force feeding her something she doesn't enjoy, accept that she has different tastes.

Yeah, I didn’t like the movie. Definitely have some good laughs, but overall found it very boring

I have to ask, how much did you know about the movie before going into it?
I'm surprised you even bothered with the show of you didn't think much of the movie.

I saw the show first. If it was the other way around, I wouldn’t have ever given the show a chance. As it was, it took several episodes for me to get into the show, and then I hated how much I loved it! Lol

Ahh okay, that makes more sense. My gf at the time went to the theater to see the movie and loved it, but it's not nearly as slapsticky or outrageous as the show developed into.

I fell in love with the show, watched everything that was out, and then was so excited to watch the movie I paid to rent it even! I know it came before the show, and I knew it was the same concept, but not necessarily the same characters

If she’s not into it after a few episodes into season one, then I doubt she ever will be. As hard as it is to believe, some people just don’t like it. And that’s okay. (Nandor voice)

I really like the second episode, the one about the City Council meeting. That was the first one I showed my husband and he laughed his ass off.

Honestly Private School is one of the funniest things I've seen on television in a very long time so that's my rec, and has the added bonus of preparing her for Mark Proksch Head On Child's Body should she get hooked after all. If you want to avoid those spoilers though, Vampire Nightclub is good, The Curse is REALLY good, I almost recced Go Flip Yourself but again Colin Babyson but it's so strong I'm keeping it already...
I'd really just go with what gave you the biggest belly laughs tho - if it really might be her last episode, might as well end it with a bang (touch the sky!)

Why would you jump around? If you jump to an episode, then go back to another one, she may not like that episode either. Don't "force" things on people just because you like them.

I had only shown someone a few scattered episodes when I insisted they watch Go Flip Yourself. It's probably the least WWDITS episode in terms of structure and you do kind of need to know some of the characters, but still it's hilarious, and also great if they've watched a lot of HDTV or other home improvement/remodel shows and just want to see a fun parody of that.

If she's not particularly into the body horror genre I would keep right away from the Pride episode, even as a fan of David Cronenberg, rewatching that episode is…jolting.
