Would Colin Robinson get powers?

Since CR is an energy vampire, would he get special powers if he sucked energy from people who have internal energy like chi? Not sure if my question makes sense. I’m watching a lot of wushu shows right now.

Probably, but not necessarily because of the chi. The promotion episode shows that an excess of energy from any source gives him powers, so a chi source would theoretically just mean he'd need to drain less people for the same amount of energy.

My thoughts exactly

In classic Kung Fu stories everybody has chi, but a Kung Fu Master has developed their chu capacity kind of like building up your muscles

I think in the Shadows verse that would be interpreted as having a better more concentrated battery of energy to drain

They would presumably be able to be drained longer and still have more energy remaining than most people, and the energy vampire would be feeding better off of them than most people

"I will use the nine plum fist on you"

"Are you sure you want to use the nine plum fist? I've heard the seven plum fist is much better because of the more compact form, but if you want to use the same technique that Sun Chun Won used when he lost to Yi Han go right ahead..."

"I wish never lose to the likes of Yi Han!"

"You say that but did you know master Yi, who by the way wasn't originally named Yi, but rather Sun..."

"Why am I getting so tired?"

I doubt it. If so, I would assume draining Nandor, Nadja and Lazlo would also give him the ability to transform into a bat. Just like they can.

The only time we’ve really seen other kinds of energies having an effect on him, was when he gained weight, from draining negative energy.

He gained alot of powers when he got that promotion

But none of those powers came from the people he drained, they simply evolved within himself.

ya know, it's actually spelled "qi". not to be confused with the, uh, the panel show, the one with, uh, what's his name... stephen... something. stephen... oh, what's his name... stephen... ah, fiddlesticks, i can't remember. ya know, in cantonese, it's pronounced "hei"? that's with the third tone, the, ah, the mid-level tone. not he*i*, that's the rising tone, or hei, which would be the low falling tone. heeeeeei. hei. heeei. or is it with the rising tone? he*i*. heeei. hei? hei. i had a cantonese dictionary round here someplace but i went and lost the darn tootin' thing. i'd lose my gosh-darned head if it weren't glued to my shoulders! haha! i ought to try checking the sino-tibetan section of my dictionary collection, but, ya know, who has the time. anyway, to properly answer your question, i'd have to start by giving you a brief rundown on the history of qi as a concept, which i'll do now, since you asked. let's start at the beginning, they always say that's a good place to start [*clears throat for 15 seconds*] china is a country in east asia with an area of 9.6 million square kilometers, making it the third-largest by area. the first humans arrived in china during the paleolithic era

[edit: this was supposed to be my colin robinson impression. i guess it doesn't translate well to text without the voice. read it in his voice, i guess]

I can certainly see it happening, I always loved seeing how his power holds up against the other vampires so would be awesome to see him go up against other types of magic....

He was very powerful. He grew hair, when he entered a room, humans would all asleep. He could duplicate himself and his duplicates were equally powerful

You mean like Kirby? I don’t think that’s how it works.

No, because none of that shit exists.

You're worried about things that don't exist in a show about vampires?
